Our Approach
The decorations of the house were upgraded, while restoring the original period fittings. With the addition of a small extension we created a expansive family kitchen & living space. New fully opening sliding folding patio doors created a lovely inside-outside living environment.
We instigated a significant thermal upgrade. An additional en-suite bathroom was created upstairs along with other layout changes.
Our Process
Working closely with the client to understand the ideal scope of work we secured permitted development approval. The client wished to manage the construction process, so we produced design and detail drawings and NBS specification.
The Results
This is very successful and comfortable home, retaining the key features of the Arts & Crafts era.
